This Chihuahua puppy would have more luck learning to walk on the floor than on this blanket. Her name is Willow, and she is almost 4-weeks-old. At this filming she only weighs 8 ounces.
In the description below the YouTube video, there was an update of Willow when she was 2 1/2 years old. Her full grown weight was 2.75 pound, and bosses around her German Shepherd sister. Mighty are the small! According to DogTime, a Chihuahua is usually between 6 to 9 inches tall at the shoulder. They weigh around 3 to 6 pounds. Their personality tend to be confident and bold. They usually bond to one person, although they are willing to make friends as long as they are properly introduced. They may be reserved at first.
Characteristics of a Chihuahua
Chihuahua is among the top 10 breeds recommended as watch dog. They will alert you when they hear the slightest sound near the house. If you want a very quiet dog who does not bark, this is not the one to bring home. Of course all dogs are individuals even if they come from the same breed. I know one Chihuahua who is so quiet that to this day, I don’t know what she sounds like.
Another quality you might appreciate in Chihuahuas is that they don’t require much grooming. Another advantage (if you are not extremely active) is that they require minimum exercise. It’s not that they don’t need exercise. All dogs do. But look at those little legs. If they were to cover the same distance as say, a Golden Retriever, it’s going to take a lot more out of a Chihuahua than the Goldie.
It’s a good idea to socialize a Chihuahua when they are young, exposing them to lots of different experiences, people, sound, sights. Chihuahua thrives on affection and your companionship. Enjoy watching this almost 4-weeks-old puppy learn to walk.
