I’ve watched many videos with puppies twitching and am curious why, so I did some research, and found some answers in Pet Place. The first couple of weeks, newborns’ legs are weak. They are barely strong enough to find their way to mom for feeding and to snuggle with siblings for warmth. This twitching movement during sleep actually helps puppies strengthen their legs.
