When it comes time to rinse, instead of putting Frankie under the faucet right away, he pours water from a cup first. Then he eases Frankie into a more thorough rinse. When he notices that Frankie starts to feel stress, he kisses Frankie. When it comes time to use the hairdryer, he holds Frankie in one arm so Frankie would feel safe with the hair dryer.
