The kind dog in this video is encouraging a puppy who is timid with the stairs. The lab (mix) is a 6-months-old rescue dog named Simon. The puppy is 8-weeks-old named Daisy, adopted from a rescue source also. The mom is cheering Daisy on to come down stairs. Simon is empathetic, and goes up the stairs to show Daisy how to do the stairs. Several times. When Daisy finally takes the plunge, Simon is right there, being a cheerleader, and with his mouth ready to catch her, should she falls. What a kind dog.
