The man in this video is being comforted by his nurturing dog. I believe this is one of the many examples why dogs got the title “Man’s Best Friend.” This is not a typical hand movement I’ve seen in dogs, yet somehow she learned this comforting gesture. I believe dogs sense our needs to be comforted. I know they pick up different kinds of signals that humans may miss. What a very lucky man this is, to receive this unconditional nurturing from his best friend.
