The puppies in this video are dreaming about food. They are making those cute puppy twitches and suckling sound. I was curious about why puppies do this, so I did some research. I read that puppies dream too. The twitching takes place when they are in the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase of sleep. They act on their dreams by twitching or moving all their feet as if they were chasing after a rabbit. It’s normal, and it’s lovely to watch.
