This is a video of puppy Harley’s first day home. Watch how quickly he gets comfortable with his new surrounding. I like how on the trip home, Mom wraps Harley in a warm blanket and holds him the whole time. And when he gets to his new home, Mom leaves the same blanket around so Harley has a security blanket to return to.
These parents already have a stuffed toy ready for Harley to play with. Dad gets down to Harley’s eye level so the puppy can get acquainted more easily with him. And it works. In hardly any time, Harley starts playing with his toy and feeling at home.
