7-week-old Dusty really really really wants to play with the cat, 4-month-old Aubie.
I think the puppy is discovering his vocal abilities, and sometimes scares off Aubie with his voice. Even though he REALLY wants to play with the cat, he instinctively knows to respect her space. I think Aubie is a very wise cat. Even though she is open to playing with the pup, she wants his energy to calm a bit before she would play with him.
That was then; now they are best friends.
