Roxy is a 4-legged school therapist. She lives with an English teacher who convinced her high school to allow Roxy to be in her class because she can sense which student needs to feel uplifted. Roxy would go over and put her head on their lap. A simple gesture of kindness. Yet it means a great deal to students who may be having a stressful day. Sometimes Roxy is “borrowed” by other classrooms. That’s how effective her “therapy sessions” are.
