The service dog in this video is using an ATM machine. Isn’t it wonderful that individuals who are differently abled can expand their daily activities with loving friends such as Renae, who’s trained to understand over 100 commands?
Margie (Renae’s human friend) says that Renae helps her find her glasses, pulls off her socks, brings her the remote control, and a gazillion other tasks that enhances her daily life.
When I first encountered service dogs, the most challenging aspect was resisting the urge to interact with them. But now I understand that when they have their “work jacket” on, I’m to respect them on their job, and not interact them unless their human says it is okay to do so.
Enjoy this video! And THANK YOU service dogs everywhere!
