The Shih Tzu in this video is saying “Mama”. Her name is Abby, or “Miss Abby”. And she is quite good. She must have been practicing this for a while. At this filming, Miss Abby was only 5-months-old.
As I watch videos of dogs saying human words, it amazes me how they imitate some of the sounds so precisely. I just assume that there’s no consonants in dog’s language. Yet Miss Abby is able to form the “m” sound. In videos where dogs say “I love you” I think they are probably imitating the intonation of the phrase.
