The Shih Tzu in this video is Abba, and she is warming up to the new puppy. The puppy is Rambo. Abba is starting to tolerate him. Rambo really wants Abba to like him and is looking for that validation.
It has got to be challenging for a dog who’s been the focus of attention to suddenly have to share that attention with a new dog. Like an only child getting a new sibling. I remember an acquaintance’s dog going through that when they brought a second dog home. The first dog really did not like the idea at first, then came to tolerate the second dog.
