This is an interesting video showing the relationship between dogs and stairs.
Stairs are built for humans. Well, grown humans. Babies may not be fond of stairs at the beginning, until they are having fun climbing them on all fours.
It’s understandable why especially puppies feel timid around stairs. But it’s not limited to puppies. Many of the dogs in this video are grown dogs, and some of them seem to have an aversion to stairs. Even going up. It would be interesting to go inside the mind of those dogs and find out what it is about stairs that make them uncomfortable.
Then there ARE a couple of dogs in this video who think stairs are fun. Granted, they have longer legs. But then they are not using their legs in this case.
