The Goldendoodle puppy in this video is Bailee. She is 10-weeks-old at this filming. What a quiet dog she is. From the way her Mom patiently helps her with the ice cube, you can tell this is one well-loved puppy. Even though she is “eating” her ice cube, she is fine with Mom helping her hold the ice cube in place for her. What a sweet natured dog Bailee is. Goldendoodles is a cross between Golden Retriever and Poodle. They don’t know the word “stranger” according to Pet Wave. Everybody is their friend. They are cheerful, gentle, affectionate, trustworthy, and make a great companion for individuals with disability.
What are Goldendoodles like?
Goldendoodles are highly trainable. If they are properly socialized, Goldendoodles get along well with children and other companion animals. Because they do not have a strong prey drive, they’d be fine with cats and smaller dogs. Still, it is a good idea to do a proper introduction if they are to live with a cat and another dog.
Goldendoodles thrive on our attention and love, and they don’t like to be left alone for long periods of time. Otherwise they can get into some mischief. They are active and energetic. It’s nice to have a yard for them to run around. If you don’t have a yard, take them for a long walk everyday, so they can stretch their legs and run around.
They are drawn to water, so swimming is also a good activity for them. Keep them active physically for several hours a day, and you’ll have a physically and mentally fit Goldendoodle on your hand. They are smart and very willing to learn. Be sure to use positive enforcement and gentleness with them. You can learn more about Goldendoodles here.
