I watched this video about a lovely friendship between a Great Dane, Kate, who cares for an abandoned fawn like a mother. The fawn would try to be suckle, and Kate would be very patient and allows the fawn to go through the motion.
2 weeks later, the fawn starts sleeping in the wild, and would return everyday to be with Kate.
