What a precious moment to witness. Imagine how much more information they now have to process, sights to wonder, things to explore. What an exciting time.
Before their eyes open, they were aware in a different way. No doubt just as wonderful.
I think humans enjoy their interactions even more when their puppies can look back at them, reflecting to the humans what they see. And I imagine what the puppies see are beautiful people who love them and care for them. People who are most appreciative of this precious little one in their arms.
