The rescue cat in this video loves to kiss the rescue dog in the family. The cat’s name is Oliver. He was rescued when he was 6 months old. She’s been purring since she was adopted by her family. Then along came Izzy, adopted from a shelter. Izzy is a terrier mix. Oliver just loves to kiss everyone–dogs, cats, kittens, people. She does not care about the species. A total lover.
Maybe it’s because of the appreciation she feels for finding a family that loves her, she is helping Izzy to feel as loved as she is. Sometimes I think those we adopt from the shelter or from the street feel a common bond with others who are rescued.
