The Basset Hound in this video knows how to get attention. And he is very vocal about it. I can’t imagine anyone being able to resist his voice. It doesn’t exactly whining. It is a low-grade sound (almost under his breath.) It sounds like a statement of displeasure everytime his dad stops scratching him. But it’s a cute sound of displeasure, one that makes us smile, not annoyed.
And that face! Who can resist that face?!!! Notice how he throws his head and neck backward when his dad scratches his head, as if saying, “Scratch under my chin.”
