The German Shepherd in this video is overjoyed that Mom is back from vacation. His name is Rambo, and he is 7 1/2 months old at this filming. Look at the eager look in his eyes when he spots Mom coming down the corridor. Rambo just about jumps up the gate to greet his Mom.
I think I know why he’s named Rambo. When he stood up to hug his Mom, he knocks her over because he’s the same height as she when he is on his hind legs. From Mom’s squeals of delight, I don’t know who is happier about this reunion–Rambo or Mom.
