Hear that whining? It’s Frankie the English Labrador puppy voicing his fear of going down the stairs. He’s only 5 weeks old. All his siblings have already gone down the 2 step staircase to the backyard, but Frankie needs a bit of encouragement. His brother Joey figures out how to go down the 2 steps rather quickly, leaving Frankie the last one to take his turn. He just needs a little bit of cheerleading from his human Mom.
And actually his Lab mom did come by to see how Frankie is doing with the stairs. Even though she did not physically nudge Frankie, her closeness seems to be just the encouragement he needs. Seeing his Mom and siblings already down below and hanging out together, Frankie decides it’s more fun to join them. He stops paying attention to his fear and took his first step. Congratulations, Frankie!
