It’s a good idea to socialize them early by exposing them to a variety of sights, sounds, circumstances, so they grow up to be well-rounded socially.  They are quite social, and do get along with children.  It seems they would be good for family with children.  Even so, because of their size, they are more suitable for families with older children, just to be on the safe side.

Maltipoo would do well in apartments or houses with yards, as long as the yards are fenced.  They are so small.  If they live in apartments, make sure they get their daily exercise.  If not, their excess energy can be destructive.  Also, Maltipoo do bark to alert you.  If your building has noise restrictions, you might want to consider a different dog.  When it comes to food quantity, it really depends on how active the Maltipoo is.  One that is active all day will need more food than a couch potato.  Serving them high quality food means they need less quantity to nourish them.  You can read more about Maltipoo here.
