The Maltipoo puppy in this video is determined to get the straw out of the cup.  The word “dogged” comes to mind.  Powerful will comes in tiny packages sometimes.  Watch how focused this puppy is.  Nothing else around her is even in her awareness.  Only one thing exists in her world that matters to her at this very moment.  She is totally absorbed in getting that one thing.  There’s wisdom in here somewhere.   Wouldn’t it be nice if we could concentrate on one thing we want the way that this puppy does?

What are Maltipoos like?

This determined puppy is a Maltipoo, which is a cross between Maltese and Poodle.  These are affectionate dogs, and they love people, according to Dog Time.  They also get along with other dogs and pets too.

It’s a good idea to socialize them early by exposing them to a variety of sights, sounds, circumstances, so they grow up to be well-rounded socially.  They are quite social, and do get along with children.  It seems they would be good for family with children.  Even so, because of their size, they are more suitable for families with older children, just to be on the safe side.

Maltipoo would do well in apartments or houses with yards, as long as the yards are fenced.  They are so small.  If they live in apartments, make sure they get their daily exercise.  If not, their excess energy can be destructive.  Also, Maltipoo do bark to alert you.  If your building has noise restrictions, you might want to consider a different dog.  When it comes to food quantity, it really depends on how active the Maltipoo is.  One that is active all day will need more food than a couch potato.  Serving them high quality food means they need less quantity to nourish them.  You can read more about Maltipoo here.
