This Pug speaks with words AND paws! He is either having a conversation with the camera or the videographer. It’s understandable that if this little one has never seen a camera before, and his owner’s face cannot be seen behind that camera, it can be a bit disconcerting. As the puppy reaches out and gets no response, he gets increasingly annoyed, and starts letting the camera know what he thinks of it.
How to care for a Pug’s breathing
Pugs do make interesting noises. Someone asks a question on Pet Pug Dog about what kind of noise is normal for a Pug and what kind of noise should we be concerned about. The noises they make is part of what makes a Pug endearing to us. Even if we just heard that same noise this morning, it still amuses us. And coming out of that comical face makes it better.
Because of the way a Pug’s head and snout is shaped, it is normal for them to catch their breath from time to time. When it gets too hot, a Pug will start panting because he gets overheat very quickly. Or, if it’s hot and humid, and they ran around or walk too long, this can happen too. Take them out of the heat immediately and have them stay in a cool place. Give them water.
If you live in a hot area, exercise your Pug in the cooler morning or evening, not in the heat of the day. If a Pug burps, it may be because of the food he is eating or maybe he is eating too fast. Try removing one of the vegetables and see if that takes care of things. Another idea is to buy a slow-eat bowl or put a portion pacer to the bowl they have. This will slow down their eating, and they will gulp down less air. If they burp a lot, tell your vet how often it is happening. It could point to something that requires attention.
