The dog in this video is really good at Patty Cake. What dogs wouldn’t do to connect with us! Watch this dog’s great rhythm as the woman recites Patty Cake. Even though she gets a treat after the first Patty Cake, and wags her tail, I think her heart isn’t so much about the treat. In fact, at different points she almost looks bored.
My guess is that our dogs love being around us so much that some of them (and only some of them) will do whatever it takes to spend some 1 on 1 time with us. To amuse us, to keep us entertained.
