The tiny dog in this video looks like a teddy bear. But it’s a dog. Really. Her name is Shu. If Shu had stayed still, it is quite possible that we think she is a toy. Wouldn’t it be fun to invite someone home who doesn’t know about Shu, and put her right next to a toy teddy bear, and see how long it takes our guests to figure out Shu is not a toy?
Look at those button eyes. The description in a different video identifies Shu as a toy poodle. A red toy poodle. Toy poodles are usually 10 inches or less in height, weighs between 5 to 10 pounds. They don’t shed much, which is a good choice for people with allergies. They are easy to train, easy to housebreak, good with strangers, dogs, cats. They are very intelligent and have a sunny personality. Even though often poodles are referred to as French Poodle, they did not originate in France. It’s just that they are very popular there.
