The two puppies in this video are yawning and kissing. It’s an absolutely adorable video. I only wish it were longer. The puppies are yawning, and the other would grab the opportunity to lick the inside of the other person’s mouth. They would also try putting the other’s entire nose and mouth into their own mouth. Fun things puppies do to entertain themselves. And us!
Some articles go into various reasons why dogs lick another dog’s mouth. May be an invitation to play, maybe a way to say sorry, or to establish their pecking order. It looks to me the licking in this video is pretty even, so maybe they just smell something interesting in the other’s mouth.
